Work has begun on a six-figure investment into new premises for DWS Legal to support the continued growth of the company.
DWS Legal is redeveloping the former NatWest bank next door to its offices in Friar Lane in the city centre.
The move is part of an ambitious expansion strategy that has recently seen the company rebrand itself with a new name, brand identity and logo. It was formerly known as Douglas Wemyss Solicitors.
The new location has been specially designed to house all of its 30 staff across all of its departments and allow it to expand further.
Sameer Karim, CEO of DWS Legal, said they planned to move into the new office space by the end of the summer with an official launch party in September.
He said: “This investment is indicative of how the business has developed over the last few years and perfectly aligns with the bigger picture of the direction we want to grow the firm.
“The most important thing is that we are delighted to be staying within the city centre and this shows our commitment to Leicester.
“The new offices perfectly symbolise our vision for the future of DWS Legal and in line with our strategy for continued growth. We are looking to create a really standout vibrant office which is unique and designed to increase productivity.
“We have grown the business across all our service offerings from litigation, property to family law while our London office is growing from strength to strength with excellent year on year growth.”
The new workplace has been designed with bright and bold colours to reflect the new branding. It will include themed meeting rooms and sleek, modern breakout working spaces for its lawyers.
The entire office floor has been designed to accommodate all partners and employees in an open plan environment to enable teams to easily and comfortably interact with each other.
DWS Legal recently launched a fresh new look website as part of the rebrand aimed at becoming a valuable resource for its clients and business partners by offering the latest information including insights across a number of key service areas.
