dws takes part fosse apprentice challenge

<p>Our staff members at DWS recently took on the Fosse BBC Apprentice challenge – we were given the task to buy as many festive related items as we could within £20 including food, drink and chocolates.</p> <p>And all for a good cause! All the items collected were then donated to Leicester Charity Link – a charity organisation that changes lives across local communities in Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northampton by providing basic items for those who need it the most.</p> <p>Their work involves providing beds to sleep in, cookers to make meals, clothing and food.</p> <p>This Christmas, they’ve teamed up with local business to get them all involved – by asking their members of staff to buy as many items they could with £20 so that all the items could be donated to those who are less fortunate this Christmas.</p> <p>In the spirit of giving at Christmas time, you can make a difference to people in your local community by visiting their website here: <a href="http://www.charity-link.org/">http://www.charity-link.org/</a></p> <p>At DWS we had plenty of fun finding what we could within £20 each and managed to collect a variety of items ranging from baked beans, cereal, advent calendars, toys and teddies.
