We launched our biggest ever CSR campaign promising to plant 1,000 trees in 100 days by planting a tree for every invoice we raised. We achieved this and have extended the campaign to reach the next milestone!

Parents of children and young people with disabilities in Leicestershire will now have access to free, professional legal advice.

We revealed Menphys as their ‘Charity of the Year’, a partnership that will provide parents supported by the charity with a direct line to legal advice.

We're also be offering parents associated with Menphys, a free Will writing service and have committed to raising money for the charity during the foreseeable future.

Liam Deacy, Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Menphys says he ‘cannot put into words just how massive this is for the charity’.

Thinking about writing a Will can be an extremely difficult subject. DWS saw an increase in Wills during the COVID pandemic. We therefore opened the service up to NHS staff for two months following April 14 2020.

DWS took part in the Ice bucket challenges, a mass drenching of 40 lawyers! We donated £1,000 to Macmillan and nominated Leicestershire cricket star Paul Nixon, fashion guru Gok Wan and music stars Kasabian for a soaking!
