<p>Yes, you’re not allowed to simply walk about with a plank in hand unless your unloading from a vehicle. So next time you go to carry off a plank of wood down the road- Think twice. This law is also extended to their decorating and constructions tools. This law was enforced in order to allow for greater public passage.</p>
<p>They were not allowed to put their washing on lines outside, or over windowsills or balconies. The whole point was to make sure potential investors were not distracted by the washing and so they had clear views of the houses.</p>
<p>If you’re catching salmon don’t make yourself look suspicious! You could be arrested. Make sure the salmon you have is of the right standard and has not been obtained via means of illegal killing, trade or landing.</p>
<p>You’re not allowed to bring potatoes from Poland to England unless you follow a set of very strict guidelines such as: proposing the time, date and means of bringing them as well as stating their intended purpose. This was initially set out because of outbreak of ring rot in Poland.</p>
<p>A council issued an order to its staff stating they were banned from speaking about their children while at work, and if they wished to do so they had to ‘clock out’ meaning they wouldn’t get paid. This rule has thankfully been dropped since then.</p>
<p>A local council issued that dog walkers had to keep an extra bag in case their dog pooed. They had to have one of them with them at all times when walking the dog. And if they used one already they had to have an extra one in hand.</p>
