Austin is a commercial litigation solicitor, and specialises in resolving business and workplace disputes.
He is head of the firm’s dispute resolution department which consists of seven fee earners. He qualified in Northampton and worked for a number of respected law firms within the region. Austin has also obtained a qualification in business mentoring and coaching.
Known as a “people person”, and for his “can do” approach to his work, Austin also plays a pivotal role as a Client Relationship Manager, training and developing staff, as well as protecting the legal interests of his clients.
The Litigation team deals with the resolution of trade disputes arising between businesses, their clients, and suppliers, including infrastructure conflict, and regulatory infringement.
The success of the department is based on Austin’s philosophy of taking the “emotion” out of litigation to diffuse sensitive issues such as breaches of contract, professional service agreements, unpaid invoices, IP infringement and finding proactive, commonsense practical solutions in a cost effective and timely manner.
Wherever possible, Austin will use his “know how” to help his clients to avoid legal disputes and he has extensive experience of providing dedicated litigation support to pursue or defend claims when instructed to do so.
