<p>A claim form is an important notice from the courts warning that someone is owned money and needs to be paid. It is important to reply to the form in a timely manner as missing the deadline or refusing to reply would doubtless result in paying more and getting a county court judgment in favour of the opposition party.</p> <p>The deadline is 14 days of receiving the form and you would respond by filling in court forms manually or online. If you need more time, you can ask for another 14 days to respond, a total of 28 days to reply.
